This was always something my Uncle wanted to experience. So we bought him tickets at Christmas...and he was more than thrilled. Aunt Karen said he didn't even sleep the night before the race. I hope he had a great time and enjoyed himself...

Our weekend in Delaware...part 1

This is where we had to go after dinner to fight our parking ticket that we over filled the meter with money so that we wouldn't get a ticket...Oh yeah...$30! But due to the fact that we stuck over $3.00 in the meter for a hour dinner, we are fighting it!!!!

Our hotel...really nice. We had a suite, we weren't expecting it to be as nice as it was. It had the seperate tv room, fridge, micro, king size bed, huge bathroom, and the pool was nice and relaxing!

Becky's Wedding...

My friend Becky got married last friday. Very beautiful wedding, and the reception was a blast. We got to sit with Kelly (see pictures below). Congratulations Becky and Carmen Williamson!!!! Me and My Hubby Dave...Thank you Dana for the wonderful hair! It stayed all night!!!!

Ok, I was a little slow with learning how to upload the pictures to my computer, but now that I am educated...I can get back to blogging! I have some from my birthday, and I have a great weekend for pictures coming up...Becky's Wedding on friday, then to Rehobeth Beach sat, sun and monday for the Race for Dave and my Uncle to attend (we will be shopping!) so I will be snapping away!!!!

My Princess Birthday...

Who knew at 32 you can still feel like a princess on your birthday? Well...i found that out yesterday. It was perfect, dinner with the family, cake and coffee and all the presents! LOL! You are never to old to get presents. I was very lucky this year...I got alot of great gifts, one that I am using at this very minute! My new HP Laptop...its awesome! I felt so special...that my Hubby went out on his own, remembered what I asked for and got me triple what I asked for...I am still learning about the computer, so I will hopefully soon add the pics from the day. But I truly, truly have to let the world know how lucky, no blessed I am to have him in my life. He works like a dog with overtime and his 2nd job and reg shifts just to make our lives better. He is the best Husband ever! He also gave me a card that I knew he sat at the store and read for like 45 minutes and it was us to a tee! He is a great guy and I love him so much!!!!

We went out to dinner and even Tor got to come! We had a great time. I got so much stuff! I swear, I am so lucky! I got a Wii with Wii Fit and several games, gift cards for the avenue, Macy's, payless, fashion bug, best buy...2 different perfumes, color printer (that goes along with the laptop)new sheets, candles, speakers, this new hair clip that is on tv (ITS PURPLE!), and the desk to go along with the laptop (that I have to go out this week to buy, he knew that I wanted a particular one, so he will let me pick that out). Ovi vEY! WHAT A BIRTHDAY!!!!

Mother's Day...

Mom is in Las Vegas this year for Mother's Day...so it was very weird for me. Every year she picks a restaurant and we usually do breakfast over Daves' Mom's and dinner with my Mom. But with her not here...i felt lost. I felt like I should get a do over to celebrate that day with her. I feel...cheated! Like, yesterday...I went grocery shopping, went to see Dave's Mom, then went to walmart. Not that traditional day. I did talk to my Mom and she was on her way to her favorite jewelry store in Vegas, so I hope she had a great day yesterday. When she comes home we will take her and aunt pat out for dinner of their choice. I guess what I was trying to say is, not having my mom home on Mother's day really made me appreciate her and made me realize how lucky I am that she will be coming home. Does any of this make sense? I hope so!!!!

BTW...it was the hottest weekend so far, and my bangs were straight when I left the house, not so much after walking around Time's Square!!!!

Hubbie's New Business...

I wish him all the success and good luck with everything. It has taken a while for him to get it up and running, but he did it and he will be great at it! I am so proud of him!
So, now he is a full time Firefighter and a full time tow truck owner/driver....Whew! I got tired just typing that!!!! Good Luck Honey!!!!

My Hubby's New Toy

I truly wish I could move it outside to take a better pic, but being that I have a hard time sitting on the thing and balancing myself on it, in the garage pic will have to do! He is so excited, its navy blue and white, and I know he will be careful on it... (LOL!) So, now I have the book upstairs to get my license, but I am still thinking weather I want a bike or a girly sscooter (Hubby said they have them in purple! That's a selling point for me!) LOL!!!!

Seriously, I am so blessed...

this Man has been my rock. I can't thank him enough for being there for me, doing everything for me emotionally and working two jobs just to make our lives better (Oh, and he never complains) or asks for anything, but for me to maybe go get him a cheesesteak when he doesn't like the pasta I made...lol. He goes above and beyond. Maybe to other people it may just seem normal or they take their husbands for granted, but seriously, he is so good to me and my family. I love him with all my heart and thank the heavens that he came into my life. I truly, truly am blessed and the luckiest woman in the world! Love you pooh! Looking forward to Baltimore this weekend with you and Tor!!!!

I want to thank...

everyone for caring about my Aunt. She had spinal stenosis surgery on Thursday, and she came though the surgery with flying colors, but the last few days were a little rough. She was in ICU until today when they transported her to the rehab. We don't know how long she will be in there, but she has a long recovery! But thank you all for your support!
