22, 23 or going on 24?

Those are the confusing numbers of pregnancy. See if you can follow along. If you go by the pregnancy calenders, i am starting my 24th week tomorrow (weeks in pregnancy always start on a saturday). Ok, 4 weeks ago at the dr I went in as 18 weeks, then they told me I was 19 by the end of the appt. Ok, here is the duzie...I went on wed for my month check up, and besides the baby being super sutbborn it wouldn't show us if its a he or a she, but besides that, i am now only 22 weeks. Is my OBGYN in a black hole time warp? I am so confused!!!!

Week 19

Pregnancy math confuses me! i went in yesterday morning to the dr and i was 18 weeks, they did the ultrasound and when i left i was 19 weeks! i gained a whole week! But, my due date stays the same...? Don't understand it! all i know in 2 more days i will be now 20 weeks pregnant, and half way throught it! Baby Sharpley wouldn't show us his or her parts yesterday, so now we have to wait until May 12th. Baby is healthy, 8oz, perfect length and bones are all in place. So, that was good news! Here is his/her recent pic...

New Car...

Along with going into week 15 of pregnancy, I got a new car! Well, its a truck! Its the 2010 GMC Acadia, white with light grey interior. My lease was up, so time for a new one.

Week 14 (almost 15th) I don't know where the time is going. Pretty soon the baby will be here! Its been a different experience being pregnant, you get to be a princess all the time, you dont have to lift, fold, cook, clean, drive, make the bed, clean up after dinner, or even go get the mail! That may be because my husnband spoils the heck out of me, but I am loving it very much! I keep reading on line each week what is supposed to happen, and they are pretty much on the money, my tiredness has subsided, I am a little more emotional (i was crying the other day just driving home from work), and the streatching paings in my tummy tell me something is moving around in there! Oh, and they were so right about sleeping on your left side. its the only way i can fall asleep these days...so there are the pluses and the minuses like I cant cook/touch/smell anything raw anymmore. I tried to make chicken the other night and i just had to walk away. it was horrible! I don't understand the corolation between the smells and the food bothering people, but i am definatly having those issues. Oh and not so many weird cravings, i am now eating creamcheese off a spoon with some apple butter! Thats the weirdest I have gotten! So, thats the update for now...Oh and the gestational diabetes is pretty much under control. I am learing all about carbs, sugars, everything that you put in your mouth! Its actually pretty neat and so far i have lost 2 pds and only gained one the whole time i have been prego, so i have to be doing something right! Well, time to go to do some work....Till next time...

Dave passed his 2nd part of the Lieutenant's test...he was so worried he wasn't goint to at all...So, in honor of that acheivement, I got him the new Blackberry....i think he deserves it...lol! Congrats Pooh Bear! ! ! !

Going into week 10 tomorrow...

Nothing new to report this week...still feeling ok, no more morning sickness for now, thank the heavens!!!! We go back on the 24th for the next ultrasound and the 1st trimester testing...KIT!!!!

Here's Baby Sharpley

Doesn't he/she remind you of a tadpole? lol! Baby S is 10 cm long, and I am 7 weeks! My new due date is September 11th...YIKES! But I am sure I will go early...they took like 12 viles of blood from my poor arm, and I have to go for all the regular testing and all that fun stuff...so everything is flowing along...keep you all posted!

SOOOO EXCITED!

Thursday is our first "Baby Dr. Appt" where they will do the complete physical, and the ultrasound. I am 8 weeks, so supposidly they can hear the heartbeat. We have our fingers crossed! Morning sickness had someone subsided. I usually only get it in the am, when I have my cereal. But i have noticed Baby doesn't like Pork too much...I am considering myself one of the lucky ones who is not "throwing up" so knock on wood! The mood swings, and the crying are a whole different story. But, its hormones right???? I will try to upload my ultrasound pic on thursday night...stay tuned!!!!

Guess what 2010 brought me...

A new baby! Yes, I am pregnant! We just confirmed it yesterday with the first trip to the dr after taking 4 pregnancy tests! So, I am due September 4th ( I will know more accuratly on the 28th when I get the first ultrasound ). New place, new year, new baby...whoa! ! ! ! LOL! We are very excited, Dave is reading to me everynight on what the baby looks like today and how its growing, and all i can think about is when can i know if its a boy or a girl! LOL! But truly, as long as Baby S is healthy, that is all that matters...stay tuned for the ultrasound pic...

We are all moved in!

And what a adventure! It started at 8am New Year's Day, and we went all day long! We had a great crew of 8 and we only stopped for lunch! LOL! But everything is in its place, and having this week off really helped...We are truly lucky to be in this neighborhood, very quiet, neighbors are great, and the place is huge! So, now that we are all moved in, now we need everyone to come over and see the place! ! ! !

We're Moving!

January 1st! This is so exciting! Buying all the new kitchen appliances, (I got a awesome Rachel Ray set, and my dishes are square! HOW COOL!) I am like a kid in the candy store! Wish us luck!

We were just talking tonight, and we have been friends for 18 years! Wow, how time flies...

I can still remember the beer parties, the blender in her trunk, going to sit with her while she was working down at the apartment complex, our glow in the dark boots, sitting on her porch after school, oh, and I can't forget when she wanted to frost my hair on my porch and 2 hours later I was lucky to have hair! French fry and Peaches...always!
